Cavern Dive
Is a unique and exciting experience, the caverns have been flooded for more than 13,000 years. When dry, they were used by prehistoric cave men as shelter, now flooded they are used by us, the cave and cavern divers.

Rules (some of them) Dive withim the day light zone, follow a continuous guide line, stay away from small spaces, dive with a certified guide and don't touch.
The trip starts with a 1hr to 1:30hr drive to the dive site. Cenotes are located between the Akumal and Tulum area, south from Cancun. Expect the very best!!
A complete dive briefing and orientation plan are given before each dive. We make two beautiful dives!! each from 40 to 55 minutes.
Includes: Lunch, Refreshments, A/C transportation and Equipment.
The guide is highly trained and qualified to take up to 4 o/w divers, he uses cave equipment for safety standars and as an example of the difference between the o/w and cave gear. The costumer uses o/w equipment, lights and wet suit.

1.- Chach Mool (max. depth 45ft) Three cenotes, air pocket, helocline and decorations. 2.- Chikin Ha (max. depth 50ft) Two cenotes in one dive, halocline and fossils. 3.- Ponderosa (mas. depth45ft) Two cenotes, halocline fossils and decorations. 4.- Taj-Mahal (max. depth 50ft) Four cenotes in one dive, many decorations halocline and fossils. 5.- Dos Ojos (max. depth 30ft) Two cenotes, all decorated, air pocket and fossils. 6.- Bat Cavern (max. depth 40ft) Two cenotes, fossils and spectacular decorations like gothic churches. 7.- Calavera (max. depth 50ft) Ten feet giant stride entrance, halocline and decorations. 8.- Gran Cenote (max. depth 40ft) Beautiful white decorations everywhere and fossils. 9.- Aktun Ha (max. depth 60ft) Decorations, fossils and layer of algae at the surface provides a very special light. 10.- Angelita (deep dive) Unbeliveable! at 100ft a 6 ft thick cloud of hydrogen sulfide, these dive will blow your mind away! |
